Terms Of Service NPR Article

When reading the terms of service article from NPR, none of the information provided surprised me. Companies purposely make their terms of service long, because they know people wont read any of it. I am one of those people, who has never in my life read a terms of service agreement. The very moment I have the option to tap accept, I do. I do sometimes joke how I could be signing away my life, but never think more of it. After finishing the article, I am a bit more worried about what I am accepting from these terms of service. Allowing a company to do whatever they want with our data, is deeply problematic when looking at our personal privacy. Hopefully, for all who read this article, start to reconsider just pressing accept, without reading at least some of the terms of service.
