Vulnerability in Relationships

One of the best ways to make a connection to another person is by showing your vulnerability to them.

Courage is not the absence of fear- it is the ability to handle the fear, digest it, and overcome it. Taking that step into the unkown is scary. Fear is very real. It is something that inhibits most people from following through with the derams, goals, and ambitions. It is the thing that keeps many people up at night. It is the thing that many people look back upon when they are older as a regret that they were not able to overcome that deepest fear they held.

What if you are able to share this fear with someone else? What if another person is able to deeply listen and understand your fear so as to provide you with a sense of hope and courage?

Not only will this sort of relationship quickly become much stronger and deeper, the relationship will start to have a deeper emotional connection and bond. People will able to more deeply understand what is going on inside of your mind and the emotions that are connected to this feeling.

I guess there isn’t any courage if you don’t confront the things you don’t want to.

Playing it safe is a coward’s game. Life is all about living it ot its fullest potential, extent, and degree without having feears our inhibitions holding you back. It is all about creating the greatest adventure possible. It is all about listening to your own inner voice, listening to your heart, and following your bliss. There will likely be many times when you are knocked down, hit left, or right, and need some time to recover before jumping into the next adventure.

This is fine. This is normal. Don’t fret.

Some of the things that might restrict you from following through with these dreams and goals is the anxiety that is connected to possible failure, loss, or humiliation.

Not being assertive is then a direct way that your frustrations will not be heard by both yourself and by others. There needs to a certain level of assertivenes in order to accomplish nearly anything.

Keeping your truest goals, dreams, and desires silent is a sure fire way to cause unneeded disress. These feelings will reside inside of you, continue to grow, and eventually might overwhelm you.

A partner who is always there for you has a profound impact on your wellbeing. They act as your cheerleader always there to support you through the ups, downs, twists, turns, and tribulations throughout life.
