The Harder Path Is Choosing Kindness

Finding the will to still be positive on the days working against you

Staying positive isn’t always easy.

A lot of the time it’s hard.

Today is one of those days where more things are tugging at me trying to capture my light — my happier side.

Overnight an animal dug up some of my tulip bulbs and left a lovely mess on the walkway to clean up.

People who are not my children are needing me to mother them when it feels like my cup is depleted.

The easy thing would be to slip into my own cocoon and be bitter at everything that is looking to take from me.

But the day is still young, and there is time to choose kindness for myself and for others around me.

The harder path is deciding to stay positive.

Nothing good comes from feeding into the negativity.

Here goes nothing.
