Think about it — large goals feel unattainable. They’re looming and you often don’t know where to start or what to do next. This is because they’re far away goals. They’re goals for the future.
There are things you need to do before you get to that goal.
By breaking that larger goal down into a series of smaller goals, you’re making the larger goal more attainable. While it still may not be something you can achieve yet, you can definitely work your way closer to it with every step forward.
Tiny goals have a way of tricking you into achieving a larger goal without you even knowing it.
For instance, in the beginning of 2021, I made a proposal for my writing career that would lead me closer to this larger goal: I am an artist by way of a successful creative writing career.
